From his humble beginnings mixing organic essential oils and herbs in his kitchen sink, to the more than 30 luxury organic products now carried around the world, John Masters is a leader and innovator in the organic beauty care industry. A Niagra Falls, NY native with a natural talent for cutting and coloring hair, John Masters’ career skyrocketed in the 1970’s with jobs at top salons in Miami and New York. In the 80’s, even as recognition of his styling talent grew in fashion and celebrity circles, John became fascinated with organics in his personal life. He began to realize the serious health risks posed by inhaling and handling harsh salon chemicals day to day and became committed to creating a toxin-free salon environment. John Masters Organics grew out a desire to create a luxury beauty line that treats the earth with respect. We only get one body, and we only get one planet. Why not treat them both with the utmost care?

Committed to partnering with local farmers around the world who have a proven history of respect towards their environment in how they harvest their ingredients. These multi-generational farms continue to employ age-old practices that produce ingredients in the most eco-sensitive way possible using wild-harvested ingredients, cold-pressed and steam distilled extracts, and a strict ban of all petroleum or non-carbon based products; because only the world’s finest botanicals can make the world’s finest products

All of the organic ingredients are certified organic by EcoCert, a French based company that is recognized by the National Organic Program for the USDA. the John Masters line is all about a simple approach. You will never see artificial colors, or fragrances and all packaging uses the minimal amount of ink possible and is printed on 100% recycled and unbleached paper. By creating products that are biodegradable and packaging that is recyclable, you can rest easy knowing that what you put into the earth is as clean as Mother Nature intended it to be.
