WHY WE LOVE IT.
Most mud masks feel a little rough on the skin or have additives to make them silky and smooth to apply. Not so with Alsaka Glacial Mud Co. This masque is inherently buttery and silky with ultra fine grains that have been worn down through natural processes over hundreds (probably thousands) of years. Rich in skin nutrients, minerals and elements there's almost nothing this product won't do for your skin except moisturize. It exfoliates, draws out impurities, cleanses and refines skin tone & texture - and it leaves your skin soft not sucked dry! We also love that the company uses such sustainable methods to harvest the mud while giving back to the land from which it takes. Great product - great story.
WHAT YOU THINK.
"I am glad to see someone is finally bringing an Alaskan tradition to the marketplace." ~Jen Bersch, Holistic Spa Therapist and Owner, Salon DaVinci, Anchorage, AK

"The product feels so cool, it reminds me of the tidal flats where the consistency is like chocolate mousse. It feels velvety on the skin and goes a very long ways. I think you have a wonderful product and I am looking forward to retailing it and using it on my clients." ~Renee Hall, Esthetician, Spa Owner, The Body Cafe, Anchorage, AK

"I love the mud!! My skin felt as though I had already used my moisturizer although I hadn't. The usual redness in my skin tone seemed to have disappeared." ~Destiny L., St. Louis, MO

"It really is a wonderful product. I have always been interested in skin care and have facials routinely. For several years I used Lancome and then switched to Mary Kay. Even with all of the facials and products I have used over the years, yours stands out as extraordinary. I will continue to suggest it to family and friends." ~Margaret T., Furlong, PA

"My clients have purchased your beautiful glacial mud and are very happy! All of them have said how fantastic it is. I have also been using it and love it. It is perfect for my sensitive skin!" ~Marie Sikora, Healing Practictioner, Essential Healing, Western Australia

"It's really lovely stuff! I just finished a retreat where I offered mud masques as part of my facial menu. It went really well. To take off the mud I use a warm towel and it just comes right off with out any ado! It is wonderful on all skin types." ~'Dolly in Denali' Odegard, Esthetician and Spa Owner, Healy, AK

"[Alaska Glacial Mud Co.] timing is right. There is an enormous market for beauty products featuring natural and organic ingredients. The market is getting increasingly competitive, however, so a product manufacturer with distinctive, quality products and a unique story has a greater probability of finding success." ~Julie Keller, Editor in Chief of American Spa magazine

"I know where it comes from. It's good stuff. I have used it in the raw. Everybody gets a little glacier mud on them once in a while." ~Stephen Barnes, Copper River Salmon Commercial Fisherman, Cordova, AK

"The Glacial Facial got here quickly. I tried it and my face felt great. If it came in tubs, I'd slather on my whole body!!!! It's a winner! ~Bonnie S., St. Louis, MO
